NATURALIZATION/CITIZENSHIP

An alien can become a US citizen if he/she can prove one of the following:

* The alien has been a permanent resident who has lived in the United States
for at least 5 years

* The alien has been married to a US Citizen and has lived in the United States
for at least 3 years

* The asylee has lived in the United States as a permanent resident for 4 years

* The alien is a permanent resident with 3 years of US military service
